Cards for the Craft Sale

As I mentioned several weeks ago, the oncology department at the hospital where I work is holding a craft sale to benefit patients who have to stay for extended periods in the hospital.  They invited all crafters to donate a few items for the sale.

I decided to make some greeting cards (actually, 33 of them) and matching envelopes.

Here are a few of them:

I made several more, but I like these ones the best, that's why I'm sharing them. :)

Unfortunately, I did not get to see my cards at the sale, because the craft sale was held at the day of our holiday party.  I hope they were sold and that I was able to contribute something to help the patients.

Thanks for reading, and have a great day!

Cards for a Cause

I have finally found an excuse to craft again! :)

I work in a hospital, and my work is sponsoring a fundraiser to help patients who have to stay in the hospital for long periods.  They are hosting a craft show, and all employees are invited to donate creations to sell for charity.  I plan to make some handmade cards to donate.  This is my first time to actually make cards for sale, and I'm very excited (and also very nervous).

The craft show will be held on Dec. 20 (which is a little over 3 weeks away), so I better get started with these cards!
